ModernMC uses Jobs, XConomy, and ShopGUIPlus. Your balance is used by server features such as the shop and Towny, while your town also has its own shared bank.
Earn money with Jobs
Open the Jobs menu with /jobs. Use the menu or its help to browse available jobs and learn which activities pay. Job availability and payouts are controlled by the server, so check the current in-game information before choosing.
Use the server shop
Open the shop with /shop. Browse the categories, then check the displayed price before buying or selling. The /sell command may also be available for supported items; follow the confirmation shown in game.
Town bank
Town banks are separate from a player's personal balance. Use /town to check your town information. A resident with permission can deposit with /town deposit <amount>. Withdrawals are limited to town leadership or players granted the relevant permission.
Check current prices
Town creation, claims, and other Towny actions can have their own costs. Use /towny prices for the server's current Towny price list, and read shop prices before confirming a transaction.
If an action fails, check that you have enough balance, that the item or action is allowed, and that you have the required town rank. Ask staff if the message does not explain the restriction.
